If you’re not incorporating these 3 big moves in your workout then you should be telling yourself off. Try them now to really turn up the heat on your fat burning workouts! 1. Spiderman Push-up/¾ Spiderman Push-up Get into a regular push-up/¾ push-up position and begin the downward phase of the movement. As you start to lower the body toward the ground bring your left knee towards your left elbow. As you then push up to the starting position return your leg back as well. Then repeat on the opposite side. Repeat this exercise 12 times. 2. Walking Lung and Press Starting in a stationary position and holding a medicine ball at chest height lunge forward and as deep as you can. On the way up from the first lunge bring your trailing leg up bending at the knee and lift as high as you can. As you do this movement at the same time press upwards with your arms, lifting the medicine ball above your head. As you bring your arms down return you leg to the ground. As you do this stride forward into another lunge. Repeat these movements for a distance of 10 meters and back. 3. Explosive Squats Position yourself in a regular squat position feet shoulder width apart abs in tight and arms by your sides. Squat down till you are almost in a seated position and raise your arms out straight in front of you for balance. From here push hard through the legs and heals and at the same time swing your arms downwards and explode upwards jumping up off the ground as high as you can. As you return down land softly on the balls of the feet bending the knees immediately to tack away the impact of the landing and end in a seated squat position.Then repeat this exercise 12 times. |
